#TravelThrowback - Malaysia '14

23:00

OK. Yes, I know the last time I blogged was like last year (or couple of months ago). No I'm not going to write down any lame excuses why I haven't been blogging or writing. Let's just skip to the main point of why I'm writing this post okayyyy???

Last December I went to Malaysia with my dad and brother for like 4 or 5 days I forgot sorry. We went to Malaysia by train from Singapore and it was so cool because I love train rides hehe. We took the 11 P.M. train from Singapore and supposed to arrive in Kuala Lumpur at 7 A.M..

I woke up at around 6.30-ish A.M. then I washed my face and stuffs and suddenly the train stopped. I was like 'Are we in KL already?' then I waited, and waited.. It was almost 8 and we weren't allowed to leave the train. Then one of the crew told us that there's an engine breakdown and we are not in KL yet. The train stopped at a station which I forgot the name and forgot in what town/district was it. The crew told us that we could take a commuter-line to KL Central or wait till 9 to get the engine fixed. We didn't want to waste any time so we decided to take a commuter-line to KL Central and had breakfast there and bought toiletries and stuffs then we took another commuter to Nilai to visit a relative.

We stayed in Nilai for only one night then headed back to KL the next day. In KL we stayed in Federal Hotel. The hotel was nice. It was located in Bukit Bintang which I find pretty similar to Singapore's Orchard Road but with cheaper price of course (everything is cheaper in Malaysia ayyy). We stayed in KL for 2 or 3 nights (yes, I forget things easily.please excue my short-term memory). I've forgot most of the details since it's been couple of months. Yes I know I should've wrote this post right after I came home from the trip but procrastinating screams louder than blogging so soz.

and oh, I had Kenny Roger's Roasters for the first time while I was in Nilai!

As I've said earlier, the hotel was okay. The service was nice, it's located near a lot of convenience stores and big malls BUT the wifi connection is v v slow for a 4-star /slash/ international class hotel. I chatted with a friend of mine who ever stayed here before about this problem, and she said that she faced this problem too and she told me that the internet connection is better and faster in the bathroom than in the bedroom... okay...

                                                                       The lobby.

I shopped and ate a lot while I was there and did 0 exercise (well, unless walking around the malls and bukit bintang district counts as exercising).

I went to this mall called Pavilion and Lot 10. These malls are basically like Singapore's 313@Somerset or Wisma Atria (IMO).

I like Pavilion better than Lot10 because Pavilion is bigger and they have a lot of choices and good foods! And there's this area in Pavilion which sells a lot of Japanese goodies and kawaii stuffs and they have daiso too! But my favourite part is the basement because daymmmmn so many good food!!!!

pretzel is love, pretzel is life

shopping and juice made me feel healthy
just my brother casually eating his waffle with spoon and fork

to satisfy dem sweet tooth cravings

I didn't really buy stuffs at Lot10. But my brother did.

Nope he didn't buy the Lebron collection eventhough it seems like he digs it.

And oh did I mention that I met Batman and Joker too?!

hi alfred

anyways... am i in KL or Gotham City?

I took a flight back to Singapore on Saturday morning. The plan was actually to take either a bus or train but all tickets were sold so taking a plane was the only way to get home. We flew with Air Asia. My flight was only a week away right after the Flight QZ8501 incident. Right after the plane has landed, there was a moment of silence for all of the passengers and crew of Flight QZ8501. It saddens me how there are people who aren't able to experience 2015 and there are people who can't spend 2015 with their loved ones.

Right after we arrived in Changi Airport Singapore, we straightly rushed to Harborfront Centre by MRT to go back home. And that's it. My holiday's over,

and that's it...

Happy belated New Year and Lunar New Year to you all!! Peace out!
